Aldbourne Carnival Day - procession and funfair
- Saturday 1st September 2012 from 3:00pm till 10:00pm
Aldbourne Carnival invites everyone in the village to enter into the spirit of Carnival and dress up with witty, beautiful and wacky costumes.
Entries to arrive at Woodley’s Meadow (on the right hand side of the B4192 just before you leave the village in the Swindon direction) from 3:00pm.
Judging takes place at 4:30pm with presentation of cups and shields around 5:15pm. The procession through the village (along the B4192, past the Post Office, up Marlborough Road and into the Butts, along Farm Lane, joining the B4192 and back into the centre of the village – takes about an hour) starts at 6:00pm.
