Ramsbury’s 1st Potato Day

  • Sunday 29th January 2012 from 10:30am till 2:00pm

The first Ramsbury Potato Day will be held in Ramsbury Memorial Hall on the above date and times, organized jointly by the Ramsbury Horticultural Society and Pennard Plants, from Dorset.

Pennard’s will be supplying around 80 varieties of potato tubers, plus fruit bushes and trees, seeds and garden accessories, and their staff will be on hand to advise. The potato tubers will be ‘loose’ so you can just buy a few to try out. This is the first time we have held this event, and we hope that it will be both useful and enjoyable.

Pennard Plants hosts a number of One-Day Gardening Courses throughout the year on a number of subjects – Growing Vegetables, Growing Fruit, and Agapanthus. Visit their website (http://www.pennardsplants.com) for more information.

Entry £1 to include tea or coffee. Parking will be available at Ramsbury School, Back Lane.

Come along and get prepared for the new season, try out new varieties and get old faithfuls.
