3. Consider & sign the minutes of the 1st & 14th March meetings
It was RESOLVED unanimously that the minutes from the planning committee meetings held on Wednesday 1st and Tuesday 14th March 2017 be approved and signed.

4. Consider a response to the following planning applications:
a) 17/02412/FUL 19 Castle Street – Erection of replacement building
No objection, but would wish to see positioning of house on garden reviewed to ensure it is in keeping with surrounding house heights.

b) 1702884/FUL Rosemount, The Butts – Single storey glass extension to side of dwelling
No objections, consider it is a matter for neighbours to object if unhappy with building on the boundary.

c) 17/03746/TCA Barn House, 10 Castle Street – Reduce conifers on boundary by 40%
No comment, no objection

5. Planning decisions received from Wiltshire Council since last meeting
a) 17/00799/FUL & 17/01198/LBC Sixpenny 27-29 West Street – Internal and external alterations & detached garage.
Approved with standard building conditions as well as conditions that materials being used must be approved & that elevation details are submitted for the internal works before any works commence.

b) 17/01227/TPO 1 The Knoll, Lottage Road – T1 & T3-T7 – Ash trees – reduce side growth over drive/lawns by 40% & balance other side as required T2 – Ash tree – fell T8 – Sycamore tree – reduce side growth over drive/lawns by 40% & balance other side as required T9 – Leylandii tree – fell.
Approved with standard tree works conditions

c) 17/01240/TPO 2 The Knoll, Lottage Road – 2 Beech trees – reduce height by 20%; reduce spread and crown thin by 20% & remove one low overhanging branch
