Appeal from Aldbourne Brownies

Aldbourne Brownies are supporting the Shanzu Project for disabled African women and the Utange Orphanage in Mombasa. These projects are sponsored by the Worldwide Guide Association.

Items requested include:

Unused plasters, bandages, antiseptic spray or cream, insect/ mosquito repellent, mosquito nets.

Small light toys, soft cuddly toys, small bouncy balls, pens, colouring crayons, colouring pads, hair bands, hair brushes, combs and children’s clothes.

Items can be left at 19 Kandahar or at West Street Motors – if at all possible by 6th August but otherwise by 31st August – please contact Wendy Beattie using the details below for more information.

Shanzu is a skills training workshop for disabled young women. It helps build confidence and promote independence as well as giving valuable HIV/Aids education. If you have any questions please call Anne Perry on 01793 347323
