It's a Scare-Slow!
Inspired by other local villages, we invite you to make a scarecrow with a message, to be placed around the village. The message is “Slow Down”, enjoy life and give yourself time.
Some examples of what your Scare-Slow might say:
“Slow Down” – speeding only saves minutes, slowing down saves lives.
“Slow Down” – Grow your own
“Slow Down” – walk don’t drive, shop locally
Or any other Slow campaign you want to promote.
Display your Scare-Slow where it will be seen.
All entries will be displayed and judged at the next Village Green Skills & Produce Fair on the Green Sunday on 4th July 2010, 11:00am – 2pm. 1st prize £30 local garden centre voucher.
