Latest news from DIG - Flood Forum feedback

Update 2 – The Repair and Renew Grant application process is now running at Wiltshire Council, click here for more details.

These grants are for residents/businesses who have been affected by the recent flooding to protect their properties for the future. If you’re aware of anyone who isn’t on the internet but may be eligible then Wiltshire Council’s Customer Support number is 0300 456 0100. They will put you in contact with the right people (7th April 2014).

Update 1 – Thames Water have produced a leaflet which contains details of financial help for those affected by sewer flooding. DIG have also produced a summary note on this topic. See below for download links. (2nd April 2014).

Members of Aldbourne’s DIG (Drainage Improvement Group) attended the Flood Support Forum on Friday 21st March in East Grafton.

Local MP Claire Perry was in attendance, as were representatives from Wiltshire Council, Thames Water, Wessex Water, Wiltshire Fire and Rescue and Great Bedwyn Flood Group. Surprisingly there was no representative from the Environment Agency.
