The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Mug

To celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee every child in Aldbourne aged 16 years and under will be given a commemorative mug.

Mugs will be given to all children at both St. Michael’s School and the Pre-School. To make sure that children not at these schools receive a mug, there are forms in both the Post Office and the Library to complete. Anyone over 16 years can also purchase a mug. An order form is in the Post Office, as is a sample mug.

As well as the text and illustration shown in the photograph below, the mug will have the following text on the reverse:

Aldbourne

Celebrating
the
Diamond Jubilee
of
H.M. Queen Elizabeth II
2nd June, 2012

Please can we have your orders in by March 20th! For more information please contact Alison Edmonds, details below.

Any proceeds from sale of the mugs will be divided between St. Michael’s School, the CAN and the Memorial Hall.
