Website refurbishment news
Well, more than anything, thank you for your patience! We know it’s been a long time coming, but the upgrade to the Aldbourne Community Website is fully underway, and we felt it was time to give you a sneak preview of what we have been working on. We have kept some of the key elements partially wrapped (like the banner above), and closed some of the main sections on the left hand menu while we continue to add content, nonetheless we hope you will get a sense of the scope and potential of your new village website, aka “The Aldbourne Net”.
Currently the Local News, Village Diary and Business Listings are the sections that are open and available for public viewing, and the others are not far behind. For a more detailed overview of this and related projects take a look at our own website, particularly the Past, Present & Future section, or see this news item here. As work continues we will gradually close various sections on the old site, and open the corresponding sections on this one. In the meantime please keep visiting, there’ll be plenty more to see over the coming weeks!
